Smell of gas / suspected gas leak

Turn off the supply immediately at the cylinder. Extinguish naked lights, cigarettes and pipes. Do not operate any electrical switches or apparatus. Open all doors and windows to disperse the escaping gas. If the leak is not obvious, evacuate the caravan and consult a competent service engineer — never check for leaks with a naked flame, use a leak detector spray instead.
