| Error Code / Indicator | Symptom / Meaning | Step-by-Step DIY Fix | Suggested Actions |
|---|---|---|---|
N/A | Clicking, creaking or squeaking noises while driving from the stabiliser and coupling Possible Cause: Foreign bodies or dirt between the friction pad and towball, dry operation of the draw-shaft inside the overrun device, or a detachable towball which has too much play in the locking mechanism. | Clean the towball and friction pads by lightly rubbing the surface with 100-120 grit emery paper. Lubricate the draw-shaft sleeve via the grease nipples, push the gaiter forward and grease the exposed part of the shaft with grease (DIN 51 825 KTA 3K). Visit a specialist workshop to have the ball holding area checked for damage and the locking mechanism for function, and if necessary, change the towball. | DIY Check / Tech Fallback |
