Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I calibrate the Watermaster IC water system?
1. Hold down the calibration button - after 1-3 seconds the green LED will begin flashing.
2. Turn on the cold shower tap; the pump should kick in.
3. Let it run for about 30 seconds, then turn the shower off.
4. Wait roughly 10 seconds, then hold the calibration button down again until the LED shows solid green; the pump then stops roughly 10 seconds later.
5. Once calibrated, the green LED goes out and gives a brief blink every 5 seconds.
Q: How do I winterise the caravan's water system?
If freezing temperatures are possible while the caravan is out of use, the water and toilet systems need winterising. Open every tap and drain the system through all the drain points (cold, hot and water heater). Take off the shower heads too, and leave the hose hanging down so it can drain fully. If a Whale external shower is fitted, drain its filter housing by connecting the outside shower and letting the remaining water run out through the open shower head.
Giving the whole system a clean at the beginning and end of each season is a sensible habit to get into.
