Bailey Tracker Monitor & Caravan Alarm

(2026 Model Year)

Sourced from Bailey's 2026 model year owner's manual. If your caravan is a different age or range, some details — such as the exact control panel brand or chassis-component generation actually fitted — may not match. Always cross-check against the handbook that came with your specific caravan.

Pressing the remote control's button produces no response
The remote battery is flat or missing, or the leisure battery is not connected and charged
See whether the remote's small red light comes on. If it doesn't, swap in a fresh GP23A battery (widely available). Also confirm your leisure battery is connected and charged - give it more than 24 hours on charge if it isn't.

Remote control is lost
Your Bailey retailer can supply a replacement remote control - when they do, they'll de-program the old one from the alarm (so it stops working) while programming the alarm to accept the new one instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I arm and disarm the Tracker Monitor alarm, and what happens if my caravan is stolen?ⓘ

Press the remote control button once and you'll hear two beeps - after about 45 seconds the alarm becomes fully armed. Once set, towing, moving, tilting, or lifting the caravan onto a trailer will trigger the siren for up to five minutes (a passive infrared detector can also set it off). To switch it off again, press the same remote button once more - a single beep confirms it's disarmed, and the siren cuts out straight away if it was already sounding.

One unit and two remote controls come as standard, with spares available from your Bailey retailer if needed. Bear in mind that even if the alarm side isn't armed or working (say, from a flat remote battery), the TRACKER tracking and recovery service keeps running in the background - it just won't send you an automatic alert.

If the caravan is ever stolen, report it to the police first, then call the TRACKER theft line with the crime reference details so they can start tracking it and arrange recovery. The unit itself can't be swapped over to a different caravan if you change vehicles.
