Master Troubleshooting & Diagnostics Matrix

Error Code / IndicatorSymptom / MeaningPossible CauseStep-by-Step DIY FixSuggested Actions
LED 2 (yellow) illuminates
Short-term fault occurs, accompanied by an acoustic signal due to overcurrent or high temperature.
System is overheating or experiencing temporary overcurrent.
Allow the system to cool down. Power is automatically reduced.
DIY Safe
LED 2 (yellow) flashes
Mover is engaged and the control unit or remote control was switched off, or previous engagement/disengagement process was incomplete.
Control unit or remote powered off while rollers were engaged, or engagement process interrupted.
Restart the engagement or disengagement process and complete it fully before executing drive commands.
DIY Safe
LED 3 (red) illuminates
Persistent system error or faulty drive motor, accompanied by an acoustic signal.
A permanent fault such as a drive motor failure or severe system error has occurred.
Apply the parking brake. Switch off the remote control for 2 seconds and switch it back on. If the fault persists, perform a reset for approx. 10 seconds (disconnect the leisure battery briefly or disconnect and reconnect the safety plug). If this does not resolve the issue, contact an authorised service agent.
DIY Check / Tech Fallback
LED 4 (green) flashes slowly
Radio connection not established after switching on the remote control.
Remote control has not linked to the control unit.
Ensure the 13-pin plug/adapter is plugged into the safety socket on the caravan and check battery power. If connection fails within 10 seconds, the remote will switch off.
DIY Safe
N/A
No LEDs illuminate and no acoustic signal sounds.
System is switched off, remote batteries are dead, or caravan battery is completely discharged / disconnected.
Check the remote control batteries and replace them if necessary. Check the caravan battery state of charge and inspect the fuse in the battery connection cable.
DIY Safe
N/A
Manoeuvring system not working
Power supply issue or defective fuse in the battery cable
Check the power supply - the control unit's green LED should be lit. Replace any faulty fuse in the manoeuvring system's battery cable with a genuine spare part. Cut the power for at least 20 seconds, then restore it. Contact an authorised service agent if the problem persists.
DIY Check / Tech Fallback
N/A
The manoeuvring system isn't working, and the control unit's red LED is flashing
Control unit is overheated
Turn off the battery cut-off switch and take the key out. Let the control unit cool for at least 20 minutes before restarting the manoeuvring system.
DIY Safe
N/A
The manoeuvring system isn't working, and both the red and green LEDs are flashing on the control unit
Overloading of the power electronics due to an overloaded caravan or excessive slope
Cut the power for at least 20 seconds, then restore it. If it recurs, reduce the load or the slope angle. Have a specialist carry out repairs if the problem continues.
DIY Check / Tech Fallback
N/A
The manoeuvring system isn't responding to the remote control, or only responds intermittently
Could be a low remote control battery, a low manoeuvring-system battery, or radio interference
Check the remote control's battery and replace if needed. Check the shunting system's battery, charging or replacing it if needed. Bring the remote control closer to the caravan.
DIY Safe
N/A
Drive roller sliding off tyre
Incorrect tyre pressure, worn tyre tread, or incorrect distance between tyres and drive roller
Check the tyre pressure and adjust if needed, and check the tread and swap the tyres if needed. With the manoeuvring system disengaged, confirm the gap between the tyres and drive roller is 20mm - if not, have a specialist workshop adjust it.
DIY Check / Tech Fallback
N/A
Manoeuvring system not disengaging
Electrical disengagement failure or power supply interruption
Disengage the manoeuvring system manually using the special spanner. If the fault persists, contact an authorised service agent.
