Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the maximum weight capacity for the Mover SE and Mover TE?

The Mover SE is suitable for single-axle caravans up to 1800 kg total weight, while the Mover TE is suitable for dual-axle caravans up to 2250 kg total weight.

Q: Can I use the Mover as a parking brake once the caravan is parked?

No - the Mover isn't designed to act as a parking brake. When you've finished manoeuvring, put the handbrake on first, swing the drive rollers off the tyres and chock the wheels.

Q: What should I do if the caravan battery is completely discharged and I cannot swivel the rollers out electrically?

Use the emergency swing-out: lever off the plastic cap at the back of the swing-in motor, fit a size 7 socket onto the hex bolt underneath and turn it anticlockwise.

Q: Can the Mover be used when anyone is inside the caravan?

No, during operation of the Mover, no persons may be inside the caravan.

Q: What is the function of the safety socket?

For safety, the Mover will only work while the caravan's 13-pin plug is in the safety socket.

Q: What should I do if the electric engagement fails due to a discharged battery or defect?

You can disengage or engage the drive units manually by prying off the plastic cap on the rear end of the swivel motor and using a SW 7 socket wrench to turn the hex bolt counter-clockwise.
