Thetford Spinflo S330 Hob
(as fitted to Auto-Trail motorhomes)
A fully recessed, electronic-ignition 3-burner gas hob fitted to older Auto-Trail motorhomes, part of Thetford's Spinflo 330 series.
Note: Thetford's own current 330/340/345 series installation manual has no dedicated troubleshooting section (installation-only content) - the ignition-retry timing below is confirmed directly from the Auto-Trail vehicle handbook's own operating instructions; the general ignition-fault causes/remedies follow the same pattern already established (and independently source-confirmed) for Thetford's other Spinflo-family cookers on this site (Triplex, Duplex, Aspire, K1520), since all share the same generation of electronic-ignition burner design.

Master Troubleshooting & Diagnostics Matrix
| Error Code / Indicator | Symptom / Meaning | Possible Cause | Step-by-Step DIY Fix | Suggested Actions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
N/A | Burner doesn't light within about 15 seconds of holding the control knob in | Air in the gas line, a closed gas supply, or a dirty/wet burner. | Release the control knob and wait at least 1 minute before trying again - repeated immediate attempts can flood the burner. Check the gas cylinder valve is open and the isolation valve is in the ON position. If it still won't light after a couple of tries, check the burner for dirt or moisture. | DIY Safe |
N/A | Burner lights but doesn't stay lit | A dirty or wet burner, or low gas pressure. | Clean and dry the burner components. If the problem persists, contact an authorised Thetford service agent. | DIY Check / Tech Fallback |
