Open the Thetford door and lift the holding bar to take the waste tank out, then slide it clear while keeping it level and tip it out completely. Stand it upright, turn its spout to face up and open it, then add the right dose of toilet fluid followed by enough water to cover the base (roughly 3 litres). Shut the spout and swing it back to its starting position, then slot the tank back in, check the holding bar has it secured, and close the toilet cassette access door.

Carry the waste tank to a proper disposal site, stand it upright, turn the spout to face up and take its top off, then hold the tank so the spout points down. Hold your thumb on the ventilation button until it's fully drained, give it one rinse with roughly 5 litres of fresh water, screw the cap back onto the emptying support, then slide the tank back into its storage position until the holding bar locks it in, and close the toilet cassette access door.
