No, that's completely normal and nothing to worry about. Once it builds up to around 3mm, it's time to defrost: turn the fridge off, take everything out including the ice cube tray, and prop the door open so air can circulate and mildew doesn't set in. Once you can't see any frost left on the freezer compartment or the fins, give both compartments a wipe-down with a dry cloth.
