Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I laterally level the motorhome on site?
On uneven pitches, you can level the motorhome side-to-side using either a leveller jack or a ramp, checking your progress with a spirit level laid across the floor. If you're using a jack: lay it down flat ahead of whichever wheel needs lifting, drive the wheel up onto it, and keep nudging the height up until your spirit level shows you're level.
If you're using a ramp instead: back up slightly past where you want to stop, set the ramp down ahead of the wheel that's being raised (with a spirit level held level with the axle, or otherwise placed just inside the doorway), then ease forward up the ramp slowly until the bubble settles in the centre - then apply the handbrake and chock the wheel.
