Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I arm and disarm the mobile alarm system?
To arm the system, hit the arming button - two quick high-pitched beeps confirm it, and the dome light stays lit for about 30 seconds. It waits 30 seconds before fully arming, giving you time to get clear of the caravan. Disarming it just means pressing Button 2 (Disarm) on the remote - you'll get three beeps this time, with the dome light again staying on for around half a minute.
A low PIR battery shows up as an extra 'bop' after the arming tone (it takes 2 CR2032 cells to replace). If you'd rather leave the wireless PIR sensor(s) switched out, press Button 3 (Pet Mode/Night Mode) on either remote to arm without them instead.
