Error Red LED: Water heater's red 'Failure' LED lights up

Possible cause: The water heater has detected a fault - possibly trapped air in the gas line when first lighting. Switch the water heater off, wait 5 minutes, then switch it back on to unlock the failure. If it was caused by air in the gas line, this is often enough to clear it.
