Q: How do I change a gas cylinder?
To take out an empty cylinder: shut the cylinder valve and every gas appliance off, release the retaining strap, unhook the hose, then lift the cylinder out of the locker and stand it on the ground. Fitting a full one is much the same in reverse: strip off the plastic protector, place it in the locker, reconnect the hose (a different cylinder type may need a new hose or an adaptor - check with your dealer), making sure there's no tension on it, and refit the strap.
Then turn the cylinder valve on, work through the appliance valves one at a time, and relight whatever needs it. Leaving a cylinder disconnected for any length of time? Keep the hose end covered so nothing can get inside it.
