Q: How do I adjust the torque settings for caravan wheels?
Work through the bolts evenly, following the specified sequence. The torque figures are 88Nm (65 lbs/ft) for steel wheels and 130Nm (96 lbs/ft) for alloy wheels. On alloy wheels, tighten every bolt to 85Nm (63 lbs/ft) first, then go round the sequence a second time bringing each up to 130Nm (96 lbs/ft). Only use the correct conical/tapered wheel bolts, stamped 10.9.
