Control panel legend from the CBE PL3-ST manual - numbers referenced in the fault table below correspond to these positions.
  1. 1 Mains' general button ON/OFF (to turn on/off press for 2 seconds). LED flashing indicates that the battery is low and that the low voltage device will turn on. NOTE: at start-up, the panel verifies the functioning of all LEDs.
  2. 2 Button to check the leisure battery (B2), the car battery (B1) and, with integrated twilight sensor, to set the intensity of the LED backlighting in a "night" situation (see also the "TWILIGHT" function).
  3. 3 Button to check the fresh water tanks.
  4. 4 12V button; it controls the lights and 12V sockets.
  5. 5 Waterpump button; it controls the pump relais.
  6. 6 Awning light button; the awning light switches automatically off when you start up the engine.
  7. 7 If this symbol blinks the car battery (B1) has run down.
  8. 8 If this symbol blinks the leisure battery (B2) has run down.
  9. 9 Voltmeter for the control of car and leisure battery voltage.
  10. 10 LED to signal 230V net on.
  11. 11 It indicates that the D+ functions are enabled.
  12. 12 It displays a system anomaly.
  13. 13 If this symbol blinks the fresh water tank is empty.
  14. 14 If this symbol blinks the waste water tank is full.
  15. 15 Fresh water tank level (Reserve level, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).

Master Troubleshooting & Diagnostics Matrix

Error Code / IndicatorSymptom / MeaningPossible CauseStep-by-Step DIY FixSuggested Actions
Red LED blinking (ref. 7 on control panel)
Car battery (B1) discharged / low battery alarm
Car battery voltage is lower than 12V
The car battery alarm triggers automatically and symbol 7 starts blinking.
DIY Safe
Red LED blinking (ref. 8 on control panel)
Leisure battery (B2) discharged / low battery alarm
The leisure battery's voltage has dropped below 11.5V
The leisure battery alarm triggers automatically and symbol 8 starts blinking.
DIY Safe
LED flashing (ref. 1 on control panel)
Leisure battery running low - the minimum-voltage protection is about to engage
Leisure battery voltage dropping toward minimum threshold
An automatic device cuts all 12V circuits once the leisure battery reaches this 10V floor. Pressing the on/off button (ref. 1 on the control panel) restores everything for one more minute. The control panel itself shuts down completely below 9.5V, and everything reconnects automatically once the voltage climbs back above 13.5V.
DIY Safe
Symbol ref. 13 blinks
Fresh water tank empty
Fresh water tank level is empty
Refill the fresh water tank.
DIY Safe
Symbol ref. 14 blinks
Waste water tank full
Waste water tank has reached full level
Empty the waste water tank.
DIY Safe
LED ref. 12 lit
System anomaly
System anomaly detected
Check system connections and components.
