Master Troubleshooting & Diagnostics Matrix
| Error Code / Indicator | Symptom / Meaning | Possible Cause | Step-by-Step DIY Fix | Suggested Actions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
LED flashing every 3 seconds | Faulty battery | The battery has a shorted element or has completely exhausted its capacity. | The device isolates the faulty battery and flags it with long, slow blinks on the matching LED, on the BDS200 unit and also on the MC-180 control panel. To reset it, reduce the connected load and switch the BDS200 back on via the 3-position switch. | DIY Safe |
LED flashing every 1 second | Overcurrent protection triggered | One of the two channels drew more than 120A | The overcurrent protection trips by itself: the relay contact opens and cuts that battery off. Turn the device off and back on to reset it manually. | DIY Safe |
LED flashing every 2 seconds | Battery protection function activated | The battery voltage dropped below 9.5V. | The battery protection function disconnects every user once the voltage falls below 9.5V, to prevent irreversible damage - and if it keeps falling below 8.5V, the device shuts itself off entirely. To bring it back, reduce the connected load and switch the BDS200 back on via the 3-position switch. | DIY Safe |
