Bailey Digital TV Antenna System

(2012 Model Year, Unicorn)

Sourced from Bailey's 2012 model year owner's manual for the Unicorn range. If your caravan is a different age or range, some details — such as the exact control panel brand or chassis-component generation actually fitted — may not match. Always cross-check against the handbook that came with your specific caravan.

Picture quality is poor, or interference is present.
Coaxial plugs are incorrectly fitted, wired wrongly, or of poor quality.
Go through every coaxial plug one by one, confirming correct wiring and that only good quality plugs are fitted.

Picture quality deteriorates, especially in poor reception areas.
Damage to the coaxial cable from a sharp bend, kink, or hot surface; a route running close to electrical cables, transformers, or similar equipment (causing interference); or spare cable coiled up (distorting the picture).
Trace the cable's route to confirm it's correct, keeping it clear of tight bends, kinks and anywhere hot, and pull out any spare length rather than coiling it up.

The Power Pack's red LED fails to come on.
Either a faulty coaxial plug or cable on the Antenna Dome, or an internal power-pack/power-supply issue.
Start by disconnecting the Antenna Dome's cable where it plugs into 'ANT-IN' - a lit LED at that point means the coaxial plug or cable itself needs inspecting and fixing. Our office can help further if the LED stays dark.
