Folding step feels loose, wobbles, or won't retain securely when closed

Possible cause: Worn step pivots or a worn/damaged retaining mechanism.. Check the step pivots for wear, and confirm the step stays firmly retained once it's folded shut. Where a warning light is fitted, make sure that switch still operates as expected.

Corner steady wobbles, feels loose, or is stiff to wind out

Possible cause: A loose chassis attachment, or a dry/stiff screw thread on the steady itself.. Check that the corner steadies' chassis attachments are secure, and make sure each steady winds out smoothly without wobbling once extended. If they've become stiff, a light lubrication of the screw thread usually sorts it.
